Despite distance learning, the Indiana Zeta chapter is preparing for when students are allowed back on Valpo’s campus. Three new executive board members were elected at a virtual chapter meeting on April 5th. Below are bios for our three new officers and you can find bios for all of our officers under the Meet the Chapter tab!
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING
David-Paul is from Brooklyn, NY. He is a rising Junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Interfraternity Council, Events Chair and Small Group leader with InterVarsity, ushers at the Chapel of the Resurrection, and participates in WAVES (Working Across Vocations Everywhere through Service). As VPP, David-Paul is responsible for planning and executing the events and functions of the chapter.
VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMUNICATIONS
Dawson is from Plymouth, MN. He is a rising Junior History Major with an Education Minor. He is the President and Communications chair of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, as well as a small group leader. He also is a member of the Valparaiso University Chorale, and works in the Admissions Office. He has served as Unity Chair, Recruitment Captain, Public Relations Chair, and Balanced Man Scholarship Chair before being elected as VP of Communications. As VPC, Dawson is responsible for managing the chapter’s public brand through social media, website updates, and press releases.
Jared comes from Springfield, IL. He is a rising Senior in the 3-year PA program. On campus, Jared works in Rec Sports, participates in 5PAC (5 year PA club), and is a Peer Tutor in General Chemistry. Before he was elected Chaplain, he served the chapter as a Recruitment Captain. As Chaplain, Jared is responsible for holding all members accountable to the principles of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love.
